Detailed vessel inspection - Custom Consulting

Detailed inspection of a vessel is carried out at the request of the owner when she or he needs a reliable assessment of the general  condition of the vessel. Usually this service is performed before a quote is issued for repair and maintenance works, when preparing a quote for insurance companies or when buying or selling a vessel.

A detailed inspection of the condition of the vessel is performed by various repair and maintenance experts we hire to compile a detailed plan of the works required and to provide you with an estimate of the schedule and price for these works. If an inspection is requested to determine which repair and maintenance works are required, this service is not charged separately. If, however, the inspection is carried out and no repair and maintenance works are carried out subsequently, the service will be charged according to the price list.

Familiarizing yourself with the condition of your vessel is not merely a question of its appearance, but also of its safety. The better you identify all of its defects as well as its strong points, the easier it will be for you to make decisions about any further maintenance of the vessel, set its selling price or simply set sail with the peace of mind of not having to worry about its condition.

A detailed inspection includes the following:

  • Propulsion system
  • Main engine and generator
  • Hull
